What’s the one thing you admire most about yourself?
My God given creativity....My spiritual understanding of life and ability to
keep on keeping on beyond the struggle.
Which shoe do you put on first?
This is not something I pay attention too......what ever shoe I see or find first.
What makes you laugh?
Life! The funny, pleasant & sometimes the " I told you so moments of life", laughs of irony.
If you were going to show me the place you grew up, what would be the most significant point in the tour?
The most significant point would be the fact that Richard Nixon with his Urban Renewal Plan tore my community down as he did many Black communities is America. They tore down our beautiful 2 story
home that my grand father built who was a MASTER BUILDER for the Black and White communities!!
There would be nothing for you to see because the Brookshire Free Way runs across/over the land that was once our community.

What’s something that amazes you?
The power of agape love and understanding and compassion.
What places have you traveled, visited and what are some of the things you remember about them?
Italy, Switzerland, Monte Carlo and every state in America including Hawaii, but not Florida.
I remember the people living their every day customs. and the wonderful differences in our foods.
Name three people that you admire.
I admire my mother Frances Stevenson Sloane, my grand mother Etta Ophelia Stevenson
(both now deceased) and my very much alive daughter Aisha Ophelia Dew.
What’s your favorite part about today so far?
Fact that I'm alive too enjoy this day. Right now it is 9:27 am and I grateful all is okay!
If you could witness any event past, present or future, what would it be?
The 1st inauguration of President Obama, our first African American President
What is your favorite breakfast food?
Eggs scrambled with a large mixture of veggies, cheese & seasoned onions and mushrooms in them
What was the most recent compliment you’ve received and savored?
I knew your daughter would be a leader because of you.
What does your life say about you?
I am an excellent Playwright and Artistic Director. I enjoy creating my work.
I care about plight and success of human beings!! I do like to see people mistreated. I love seeing people enjoy the creative process! I have given numerous upon numerous children the best of my knowledge to help them become professional playwrights. And I can see beyond the surface of life and I pray for a better world.
When are you at your best?
When I am understood. When I learn and understand something new.
If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do?
Pay the taxes off first!
When was the last time you cried, or wanted to cry, with happiness?
When I truly discovered who I was and excepted my dreams as a real possibility.
What is something that most people don't know about you?
I love cooking and I cherish singing all styles of music and I was trained to sing Opera.
What final thoughts would you like to share?
